Activities

From Manžan you can visit the historic town of Piran or go to the sand beach in Portorož (both 20 min drive). Portorož is a small turistic center with plenty of cafes, bars, beaches, shops etc. In Portorož you can also go to swimming pools and Spa or to a casino. Piran is quite different in style, since it is known for its old medieval center with narrow streets and buildings in Venitian style, good restaurants and a picturesque harbor. Check this website for more information.

In Portorož you can rent a sailing boat, try surfing, or bike along the coast with a rented bike. You can make a boat tour around the bay, starting from the central pier in Portorož. And there are secret wild beaches in Strunjan and salt pans in Sečovlje that are interesting to visit in case you appreciate special spots in the nature. In the middle of the salt pans in Sečovlje, you can get welness treatment in a unique outdoors Spa “Lepa Vida”.

The village of Manžan is located in the region of Istria.
